Birthday smiles

Kirin's second birthday (September 23rd) passed a couple of months ago with nary a posting on the blog. Here are a couple of pictures from the top of the Parliament Hill, after we fed the ducks and had a little walk in the park.



Here is a picture of Kirin on his birthday scooter. It is hard to explain just how impressive Kirin is on it. Notice how he is bending his knee as he pushes. Trust me, it requires more co-ordination than you would think a two-year-old kid could muster. But then, as the father, I would say that wouldn't I.
