Even hippos like the park

Johanna's delightful cousins in California (Nicola and Sarah) have reminded us that we haven't updated the blog for some time. In truth, we didn't need reminding but we did need a kick in butt to get some pics up here.

Life has been busy of late. Lots of work, lots of Kirin and not quite enough sleep. Kirin is growing up so quickly. His language has developed from imperatives to more and more full sentences. His physical abilities and sportiness are getting better and better - he watched me play volleyball the other day and was so excited ("That's my daddy!" he kept on exclaiming to Johanna) that he insisted on sleeping with a volleyball. And he's become a serial cuddler. It's great.

Hopefully we will be getting a new digital camera at Christmas so I endeavour to keep this site a bit more updated.
