New cousin Willem

David and Catherine had a little boy on 3rd May. He is called Willem Thomas and weighed in at 8lbs 13oz. He is gorgeous and both David and Catherine are doing well.

David hasn't had much to do with babies until now but has had a cat for several years so Willem was getting a lovely tickle on the tummy and the odd scratch under the chin from his Dad when I saw them.

Here's Willem with his Granny. She's becoming quite an expert now with 3 grandsons (sorry about the fuzzy photo).

Kirin is very keen to meet his new cousin and give him a big cuddle but we'll let the new little Pickering get a bit more used to the world first.
