Vamos Brasil!

In celebration of the World Cup, a little mention of Brazil seemed appropriate.

We bought this basket in Manaus, in the Amazon. It was an absolute nightmare to transport - we were only a few days into our trip, it didn't fit into overhead cabins very well (we didn't want it to get ruined in the hold), and I ended up having to carry it on planes, trains and automobiles around the country. But it has proved very handy as our new laundry basket.

Last weekend, I found myself holding Kirin and having to put the clothes in the washing machine. So, it seemed the obvious solution. I can't quite figure out if he is happy to see his mum or just enjoys the tenuous connection to Brazil. I wonder where he could have inherited that from?
