Crawling

It's the moment every parents waits for - movement on all fours or crawling. After weeks of trying, Kirin finally managed to get all four limbs working together and is now zooming all over the place. It's pretty fun to see him motoring around but it also changes the whole parenting thing. You can't really leave him on his known now, for fear that he will pick up something he isn't supposed to - rule number one of being a child seems to be that you must find the most dangerous item around, such as an electric cable or sharp object, and put it in your mouth.

Having said that, it is also very cute. If you are in the next room and call him, you will soon hear a little plodding - those are his hands hitting the floor - and in a few minutes, a little face with a toothy grin will appear around the corner.

The boy is growing up.
