Jail birds

As you will have noticed if you are a regular reader of this blog, our family are into stripes. But for once, it's not Johanna but me and the boys in our prisoner/sailor garb.

On another note, Johanna's cousin Nicola has had her baby - a beautiful boy called Evan, who has weighed in at a very healthy 8lbs 13oz. Congratulations to the Guerrieri family!

We are just back from a great couple of weeks in Croatia with Neena, Paul and Chandra, and some of their friends from Sarajevo. We spent most of the time on the Peljesac Peninsula, about 2.5 hours north of Dubrovnik in a lovely village called Kuciste.

The boys had a great time in the sun - you can see how in many ways, life with small children is easier in a hot climate next to the sea. You don't need to worry about clothes (Malik was in a nappy and nothing else for the duration; Kirin would alternate between wearing underpants, sandals, sunglasses and a hat and his swimming trunks, sandals, sunglasses and a hat) and much of our time was spent dipping into the amazing waters of the Adriatic. And, even nicer, they got to spend a bit of time with their cousin Chandra, pooha and phoofer, and we got to spend some time with Chandra and her mum and dad.
