The Christmas package arrives

The Christmas gifts from Canada finally arrived (for some reason, they were sent by surface mail which is why it took so long). There were lots of lovely presents for the boys and how cute is Malik in his new dinosaur pyjamas? (And yes, he has a bit of a dribbling/drooling issue.)

Snow in London

This is a bit late but a few weeks ago, we had the first proper snow in London since I have been living here (since 1997). Much of the city and, indeed, the country came to a standstill - and it was brilliant.

I had to go to work because of a deadline I couldn't move (my tube line was the only one that seemed to be running as normal) but at home it was a lot more fun. We live near the top of a hill and the street outside the house became a bit snow party, with all of the kids and their parents building snowmen and throwing snow balls.

Kirin loved it.

Finding joy in the smallest things

One of Malik's favourite past times is watching the clothes go round and round in the washing machine. Hours and hours of good clean fun
